With a history of over 20 years in the design, creative and marketing businesses, it was back in 2000 when we were approached by the Plymouth City Museum and Art Gallery to find a way of best showing their extensive collection of priceless artifacts that were locked away in the museums vaults. Having previous experience in using Quicktime VR (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/QuickTime_VR) we suggested this to be the best way to show off the objects for their internal education intranet system.
After many hours, days and weeks of capture, post production, quicktime creation and optimisation, we finally came up with a fantastic way of viewing historical items that wouldn't have seen the light of day. Throughout this process and having the beautiful countryside that surrounded us in Devon we tested the possibilities of showing landscapes in printed form to bring the beauty of the outside, inside to homes, offices and attractions. Creating 360 panoramic images under the brand of Enviroimmerse 360 Imaging of over 2.5 metres long, then moving onto more commercial sizes of up to 1 metre that have been displayed across the United Kingdom
This love of imagery continues with the fascination of each time you create a 360 degree image you never quite know how it will turn out and now with the availability of fast internet speeds and larger screen sizes we can truly create an online immersive experience.
Mobile devices now continue to push the boundaries and with the new developments in 360 imagery viewable on iPhones, iPads, iPod Touch and Android devices; we have the the ability to deliver our immersive experience wherever your potential customers may be.
